One Year In…

In our first year we’ve supported 19 partners across 24 projects

We’re still exploring what Good Work With is, and what it could be.

So far it’s looked like…

Making sense of the big picture.

We’ve worked with charities, alliances and funders to step back, look at what matters most, and set directions that feel real and achievable.

Listening and learning.

We’ve run interviews, focus groups and desk research to gather insight that has guided choices and sparked new ideas.

Bringing people together.

We’ve convened partners across sectors, created spaces where young people sit alongside leaders, and helped groups to  plan together.

Backing young people’s voices and leadership.

We’ve designed youth engagement frameworks, built youth participation into strategies, and supported young people to lead and hold others to account.

Shaping and testing ideas.

We’ve turned rough sketches into full programmes, built learning frameworks, and supported pilots to adapt and grow.

Supporting organisations to grow.

We’ve helped new charities set up boards and structures, guided teams through strategy reviews, and stepped into interim leadership roles.

Strengthened funding and resources.

We’ve built compelling cases for support, shown value for money, and worked with funders to recognise the importance of core costs.

Making participation easier.

We’ve designed engagement plans that work for autistic adults, young people, and other groups often excluded from decision-making.

Working with places.

We’ve mapped local systems, built collaboration across boroughs and towns, and helped partners agree on shared priorities.

Finding the right story.

We’ve helped organisations tell their story clearly – through vision documents, frameworks, visuals and workshops – so others can see the change they’re making and join in.
